The Kreitzer family began its journey in the waste industry in 1971, when Richard Kreitzer founded Kreitzer Sanitation in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. For 45 years, the company provided dependable residential waste collection, earning the trust of local communities through reliable service and a strong family work ethic. Kreitzer Sanitation operated until 2015, leaving behind a respected legacy.
In 2023, the family launched Anthracite Waste Services to carry that legacy forward with a modern approach to waste management. With over 50 years of continuous involvement in the industry, the Kreitzer family remains committed to delivering efficient, responsive, and community-focused service. Anthracite Waste now offers municipal contracts and private subscription pickup across Schuylkill County and neighboring areas.
