General Infomation

Please put your trash and recycling on the curb Sunday night for us to pick up on Monday.

Bulk item pickup is the last Monday of the month.

Yard waste pickup is the last Sunday of the month.

Trash Service Information

General Info...

Up to 5 containers that hold 35 gallons, up to a total of 60 pounds.

Make sure your containers are out the night before collection day.

We Can’t Take...

Hazardous waste:

including radioactive, reactive, toxic, corrosive, ignitable, and acidic materials.

E-Waste:

including TVs, computers, and phones.

Construction and Demolition Materials:

including materials resulting from construction, remodeling, repair or demolition operations.

Bulk Waste

Each residential property is entitled to one bulk waste item at the curb every week.

What is bulk waste?

Bulk waste is large items that are too large to fit into a trash truck. We remove this waste for customers free of charge.

This does not include construction debris.

Exceptions

We can’t take construction waste.

Mattresses and box spring must be wrapped.

Toilets must be bagged.

Recycling

Recyclables must be clean and dry

Keep recyclables in their can. Do not bag recyclables.

We must treat contaminated recyclables as trash.

Acceptable Items

Plastic #1 - #7

All bottles and containers must be rinsed clean and dry

Printed Paper

Paper must be dry to be recyclable

Shredded paper can’t be recycled

Cardboard

Paper must be dry to be recyclable

Must be broken down

Aluminum and Tin Cans

Must be rinsed out and completely empty so they aren’t contaminated

Glass Jars and Bottles

Must be rinsed out and completely empty so they aren’t contaminated

Unacceptable Items

Plastic Bags

They are hazardous to machines and employee safety

Most grocery stores recycle plastic bags.

Plastic wrap, bubble wrap, and sandwich bags

They are hazardous to machines and employee safety

Flexible packaging (chip bags, soup bags, ect)

These are made from multiple layers that prevent them from being recyclable

Compost

Shredded Paper

Shredded paper clogs the machines and threatens employee safety

Syrofoam and Packing Peanuts

Some stores will take packing peanuts back for reuse
